I 100% believe I was born to do design work and feel extremely fortunate to have started Simply Sensational in 2006.  I get super excited when I walk into tile stores and cabinet manufacturing plants.  I come alive when I see materials combined in thoughtful and elegant ways.  I look through paint fan decks the way people look at Pinterest. Fashion and design have always been my passion; however, I actually graduated from Boston University with a BSEE and an MBA.  I had no idea at the time that as working as an electrical engineer, or running a sales and customer service division, I was preparing for my dream career in design and construction!

In 2000, shortly after my daughter was born, I left the work place because my job involved travel and long hours.  I began studying design, and based on a recommendation by someone who had done a lot of work in my home, I was offered a job as a color consultant for a national painting company.  My color consultation clients began asking me to do design work, and that led to the creation of Simply Sensational.  Several years later, a large, award-winning design firm contacted me and I began designing and managing bathroom projects for them as a contractor.  I became so busy with my own repeat and referred clients that I began solely designing for my own design and construction company.

As the owner of Simply Sensational, I am the person responsible for developing the design, budget, and timeline, as well as overseeing the construction and insuring the clients’ delight in every phase of the project.  My formal education allows me to manage every aspect of the job with skill and professionalism, and my God given talent, along with craft training, enables me to develop the space of your dreams.
